Privacy Policy

Last updated: February 2026

1. Who we are

Sesen is based in England, operating the radio intelligence platform at sesen.io. This policy explains what personal data we collect, why we collect it, and how we handle it.

2. What data we collect

We collect only the data you provide directly to us:

  • Account registration — your email address and password (stored as a secure hash)
  • Profile information — an optional display name
  • Contact form submissions — your name, email address, and message

We do not use analytics tools, advertising trackers, or cookies beyond those strictly necessary for authentication.

3. How we use your data

We use your data solely to:

  • Provide and manage your account access
  • Respond to enquiries submitted via our contact form
  • Send transactional emails related to your account (e.g. email verification, password reset)

We do not sell your data, share it with third parties for marketing purposes, or use it for any purpose beyond operating the platform.

4. Third party processors

We use the following third party services to operate the platform. Each acts as a data processor under our instruction:

  • Supabase — authentication and database hosting. Your email and hashed password are stored on Supabase infrastructure.
  • Vercel — website hosting and contact form processing. Form submissions are received and stored by Vercel before being forwarded to us.
  • Anthropic — AI-powered analysis of radio transcripts. No personal account data is sent to Anthropic; only anonymised broadcast transcript text is processed.

5. Data retention

We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. If you request deletion of your account, we will delete your personal data within 30 days, except where we are required to retain it by law.

Contact form submissions are retained for up to 12 months.

6. Your rights

Under UK GDPR you have the right to:

  • Access the personal data we hold about you
  • Request correction of inaccurate data
  • Request deletion of your data
  • Object to or restrict processing of your data
  • Lodge a complaint with the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk

To exercise any of these rights, please email us.

7. Security

We take reasonable technical measures to protect your data, including encrypted connections (HTTPS) and secure password hashing. However, no system is completely secure and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

8. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. We will notify registered users of material changes by email. The date at the top of this page reflects when the policy was last updated.
